When Eleanor stops her carriage to save a wounded stranger from pursuing soldiers, she kisses him to conceal his identity, never suspecting that he is the rightful king. But her act of kindness comes at a terrible cost: her fiancé and own sister betray her, setting her ablaze in a scheme to steal her wedding and future. With her life destroyed, the mysterious man she once protected returns as her only hope for justice. However, his help comes with an extraordinary promise—he will place a crown upon her head, restore her rightful power, and force the man who betrayed her to bow before his Queen. Eleanor seeks vengeance, while the king desires her heart. Together, they set out to reclaim everything that was stolen from them.
